Gurriel hits a line drive that misses the foul pole by about 1 millimeter.  Then punches out.

Or it might be great.

They had an Astros produced show with him on Root shortly after the vote. My wife thought he needed lots of help- however, knowing that he is not the polished speaker that Biggio made himself into, I took what he said for what it was... and i found it highly personal and insightful. I fully expect the same raw emotion and personal testimony, with some modest polish, during his induction speech.

And now a tailor-made, inning-ending double play ball is an RBI-single because of the shift

Morton should be kicking Carlos Correa in the nuts.

Yep. Should have been out of there in three hitters. Still got to make the pitches after that.

He did make pitches.  He got six fucking outs that inning.  How many do you think he ought to have to make each inning?

True. Was thinking specifically of the Dansby at bat. Shouldn't have been there though.

He was worn out having to pitch around Correa's "defense" and Hinch's "strategy".

Probably because we can't even give the ball to our best player without him turning it over. Who else do you want to shoot it?

Harden drinking from the firehose for 40+ minutes every night as he carries 11 Joes will win you some regular season games but it's a shit plan in the playoffs.
When the Clark is dead, Spack will eat his spleen. Before he dies, Spack will put his posts under the knife so the Clark will see his threads wiped out forever...

And I think Harden might have been concussed.

It got better as it went along. He seemed to respect Blum. His (non)answers early in the conversation about the HOF put me off a little.  Overdid the aw-shucks stuff but I suspect he really isn't comfortable with the ceremonial part of the induction. I hope he makes a good speech there.
