Is anyone seeing velocity on their feeds? All I see is the pitch count. From what I gathered it was the velocity that got people excited this spring. I'd like to know where he is. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
I can't recall ever seeing a holly leaf tattoo before.
So it's a maple leaf?
This might be a quick one. Doug Eddings is finding strikes behind the dish.
That Correa strike 2 was at his shins.
I hear there are a lot of Canucks there in central FLA.
I like it. You'll never hear me complain about a big strike zone as long as it's consistent.
The experts behind me do not think he is consistent.
Here in New Braunfels there are quite a few snowbirds mostly from from Manitoba and a few more from Western Ontario,
You need to keep us informed about what they're saying. Otherwise none of us will have any opinions.
Was that arky?
Mostly Ontario folk around here. Pasty-white, doughy Quebecois.
Hard to tell them from the pasty-white, doughy crackers.
In addition to his foul ball discretion, I also think he's on the other side of the field. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
Oh, you can't, eh?

If you bring a sign to a baseball game that cannot be hung on a rafter that does not impede anyone's view, you are lower on the fan totem pole than the wavers, albeit only slightly, imo. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
Now let's see that steal.
Anyone got an online streaming link that actually works? out of town

What exactly is that called? Looking now
Altuve is hurting this team right now. He is flailing at bad pitches.
He gets into those little spells every now and then. It seems right now he's trying to hit a home run most times he's up. He'll get in the groove soon enough, I'm sure.
It's already the third game of the season, and he's only had one hit.
Looked to me like he's trying to punch everything to RF
I wasn't referring to that specific at bat, just in general.
So was I.
Not what I've seen. But I'm like you, where's this vaunted offense??
Shake Shack is the most overrated burger of all time. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Either that Shake Shack burger is fucking tiny, or Julia has ginorous man hands.
They went up against a couple of pretty good pitchers and won. Be happy.
MM...meet In-N-Out Burger...
I think In-N-Out is 10 times better than Shake Shack. I don't really understand the appeal (but my wife and kids seem to).
He is swinging his ass off at everything, usually in the dirt or outside.
Maybe that'll kick the offense in to gear Sent from my SM-G930T using Tapatalk
I know. I'm not going to give up on him yet though.
Then Shake Shack must be 37 orders of magnitude worse than McDonald's because In-N-Out is absolutely, positively "eh, if there's nothing else within driving distance".
Shake Shack makes In-N-Out look like filet mignon. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
All fast food, mass produced burgers are middling at best and have appeal based almost solely on nostalgia. I have no problem with consumers having burger loyalty founded on memories of their youth, but those who choose to argue his or her nostalgic memory of a burger is better than someone else's is, at best, a nuisance. That ball looked like it bounced fair.
That ball looked like it bounced fair.eta. Which means the replay looked like it bounced inside the line.
Then a ballpark burger must make Shake Shack look like filet mignon served by Alyssa Milano with a side of sloppy blowjob.
Then you're gonna hate this crowd.
"GZ2017 - Nothing but a nuisance."
I remember that I liked the fries ok. Not McDonalds quality, but ok.
And Alyssa Milano was ok.
At Shake Shack? They are classic crinkle cut, so I guess depends if you like that. I think In N Out is 100x better than McDonalds, but their fries aren't even close.
It did. Then bounced foul.
As long as it's academic, we're all good. I'm still trying to calibrate though where an "Alyssa Milano sloppy BJ" falls on the 0-10 scale of appeal in which Rachel Ray, Sandra Lee and a bottle of Crisco is a 10.
I thought if it landed fair it was fair, wherever it might thereafter wander.
Sandra Lee??? What the fuck? That'd be like fucking Kellyanne Conway the Crypt Keeper.
I'm gonna come to HH's defense here... it wasn't Sandra Lee. I'm nearly positive. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk

Only fair after it passes a base or a fielder. Before that, it if goes foul, it's a foul ball.
Think of it like a bunt rolling foul.
Sherry...UT sophomore on spring break...1987...
Don't forget Carol Brady.
Man, how did I get to be this age and not know that.
Sandra Lee??? What the fuck? That'd be like fucking Kellyanne Conway.
so long as she had the decorum not to kneel at my table when she took the order.
Joanie > Sherry
...or wear a hat
What's this got to do with Shake Shack?
At our age you're allowed to lie and simply say "I forgot that".
I had In-N-Out in Fort Worth once, it was absolutely mediocre. That was in comparison to the 20ish times I have had it in LA, it was always great out there. Fresh food and motivated employees go a long way. As compared to the inner loop Whataburger schleps, who mostly are in a bad mood and get your order right about 2 times in 5.
Seems the strike out is the way to reach base tonight.
Doesn't in-n-out have pretty different ingredients/produce for the cali and TX locations? I seem to remember that expansion was an issue because they typically only sourced beef and produce from certain butchers/farmers, and logistics made it difficult to deliver those fresh to new markets. That might also explain some of the difference. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
Shake Shack was the nickname of my '74 Gremlin.
I think someone needs to spray some cold ass water on the GZ crowd tonight.
I had a buddy that had a Pacer. We didn't give it a nickname.
Is there a game tonight?

Hunch challenging
A hunch is a good enough reason.
I found it. It turns out it was Katie Couric (whatever happened to her). There was also a sheetless waterbed involved. Hard to believe that was 10 fucking years ago.http://www.orangewhoopass.com/forums/index.php?topic=91917.msg91947#msg91947
Harder to believe you wasted time looking that up.
This rule shown on the screen about players creating markers on the field for reference. What is that in reference to? What prompted that rule change?
Nothin to motivate like being behind. We talked about this on OD...how the Astros seem to be able to score runs late. Gonna need that now.
I think this season I'm only buying wine with screw caps.
Dodgers using laser markers to position outfielders.
Wow. Ok, I missed that one. More efficient than to keep waving them over, I guess. Thanks.
Astros with 2 on and nobody out, chase Scribner who had replaced paxton...
Astros with 2 on and nobody out, chase Paxton...
They were using laser rangefinders then actually marking the field with paint before the game.
So they would mark the field differently for each batters?
Fixed it for you Sent from my SM-G930T using Tapatalk
No, they were doing it before the game.

Time for Altuve to snap out of it.
That ought to warm BG up a little bit!
Not Altuve. He is trying for the HOF.
Wow! Great change by Devo!!!
The pitch that got Cano moved a mile.
Really hoping we get a walk off win, just to see McCann scold the entire team like a schoolmarm. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
Devo for the win. Please.
Here's my fastball.....change, change, change, change, change
I didn't think Bregman swung at strike one and strike two was wide. No worries it somehow worked out... cmon Correa!Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
Well you wanted the 10th.
And you have to face Cano at least one more time.

Ok, here we go: Aoki bunts, then two walks to bring up Altuve. What happens next?
Harris in. No win for Devo. 😕
Harris in. No win for Devo. [emoji53]
I was wondering if they would do one more inning. That sucks.
But loads of respect from the GZ!
Time for the heart of the order to step up.
I hate bunting with a guy on 2nd and no outs, especially with a guy that Ks a lot on deck (Springer). Reddick is fast enough to score on most singles; why not give Aoki a chance to hit a single and win the game?
That popup was very helpful. I was afraid Dyson was going to steal third with only 1 out.
Because you want that runner at 3B with less than two outs.
That play by segura was almost lit, as the kids say. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
