I honestly have little idea what they preach/teach. My default/hope is "Of course they preached that, it's obvious, it's sane," but I'm not certain. I realize many think just the opposite, saying "they encourage that shit, just look at all their hitters that routinely swing out of their shoes." I honestly don't know, I see both sides, hitters who apparently don't value contact much, and a club that went out and drafted Bregman and acquired Gurriel, and publicly stated, IIRC how part of their appeal was their ability to make contact.
