April was bad but there is no way this team would get out of the first playoff series if they go in. Rotation is a shambles and the pen is worn out. And then there is the offense.

I like what I've seen of Peacock this month. I would be ok with him going into next season as the 5th starter replacing Fister whose contract is up. If he can last until mid-June or so before breaking down maybe Paulino or someone is ready by then. Or maybe he avoids injury and wins half of his decisions. He is throwing the ball well though.
