I was actually wondering how long before we got a hit...

What was it, four or five innings last night?

Seriously.

At least numbers-wise, Peacock is 10x the pitcher Fiers, Fister, or McHuch have been.

I knew for a fact that Marwin was going to drive in some runs there.

I should also say that after the excitement Peacock pitched great.

Rollie Fingers there sitting along the third base line is on at least his second hat of the game. He brings more hats to the park than Hudson brings to work.

So is Peacock on the list for a rotation spot next year? Maybe to replace Fister? He has added a  pitch I hear and looking good now. I just don't trust him to stay healthy.

Has his health been a big issue?  I must admit, with his role as a AAAA player the last few years, I've sort of tuned out on him.

From what I've seen this year (which admittedly isn't much), he is pretty much like other years: poor fastball command and an assortment of good secondary pitches.  I always felt that if he could get some strikes with his fastball, without getting tagged, he could be effective.  Is just that he rarely did that.

Anyways, it's great to see what he has given the club this year.  A lot of the callups have done tremendous work.

I only wear one to work.  I'm not sure what the big deal is.  I even had one gentleman say to me today in the elevator "the world's gone to hell since men stopped wearing hats."

I blame the rise of social media which just happed to coincide with the decline in hat wearing.
