So like I was saying, bringing Rasmus back ASAP is the only sensible option.

I'll take that neck over Gomez any day.

My wife saw the footage of the celebration and asked, What are they celebrating, someone's birthday?

For some reason, Gregerson's choice of all black high top cleats and long pants down to his spikes seems so out character

It seems that as soon as my kid gets to sleep and I get to watch the game and get on the GZ it's bedtime in Houston... That or I drive everyone away.... I'd rather not know the answer.

Texas gave up 6 unanswered runs after leading 4-0. Now Seattle coughed it up. 6-6 B7.

A ML team was able to get a run off of Matt Fucking Bush... The Astros would like to know how...

Beltran's new hair-do finds a way to blow a great scoring opportunity in the B8.

7-6 Seattle heading to the 9th.

That means they've ballooned all the way to +9 in run differential. What a bunch of lucky fuckers.

Perhaps winning close games isn't entirely about luck.  Or does that theory not fit the advanced metrics?
The rules of distinction were thrown out with the baseball cap.  It does not lend itself to protocol.  It is found today on youth in homes, classrooms, even in fine restaurants.  Regardless of its other consequences, this is a breach against civility.  A civilized man should avoid this mania.

Only seen him a handful of times but I like the way Yuli swings the bat.  I think he may check out.

Rasmus will always be one of my favorite Astros just for the celebration last year, but there are many other reasons.
You may ask yourself, "How do I work this?"

Perhaps. But nobody who's studied it has come up with a factor that correlates.

So when certain teams/players perform well in pressure situations, and the people who've never touched a baseball can't assign that some statistical metric, you assume it's just dumb luck?  You are going to continue to be shocked then, because it's going to keep happening. Not all of baseball is random chance.
