The ball bounced away and he put his head down and started digging in for the next pitch without a care in the world (Correa just recently scored from second on one of these as you all remember). Altuve scored easily but he didn't start running in earnest until it became apparent that the ball was staying in the yard. Which was basically when it smacked off the wall.
