Tucker, maybe?

Sure it is possible.  Has he been playing any 1st at Fresno?   But really what is the point of having Bregman in AAA any longer.
There are three rules that I live by: never get less than twelve hours sleep; never play cards with a guy who has the same first name as a city; and never get involved with a woman with a tattoo of a dagger on her body. Now you stick to that, and everything else is cream cheese.

Maybe White sees more time at third? I feel bad for Singleton I hope he can turn it around soon.

Could be Tucker or even White. Doesn't mean they can't also demote Worth and call up Bregman tomorrow or in the very near future.

Yeah, I don't get this.  Tucker had a great June but has been just okay in July.  Adds another outfield/dh bat just as Jake starts to heat up.  Just seems odd.  Feels like there is another shoe to drop

No doubt Tucker will see at least half of his ABs out of the DH role.  But I was thinking more of Bregman replacing Gomez on the roster as the other shoe.

I think they will figure out some way to trade him.  Probably have to eat most of his salary and get nothing of use back.  And they won't have to worry about the trade deadline.  He'll skate past waivers and be available to trade in August.

Well sounds like Hinch says he is not ready.  And if I followed the order of his thoughts it was learning new positions that was first on his list.  Time frame on learning left?  My August 1st prediction sounds early.

James Hoyt work this year:
50 innings pitched, 26 hits, 17 BBs(2 intentional), 84 Ks.

28 of 31 saves.  None of the 3 blown saves were your typical 1 inning save outings

Blown saves:
May 6th - Came in up 3  with 2 on 2 outs in the 8th and gave up a homerun to James Loney and then got a K.  After Fresno scored 2 in the top of the 9th he came back out getting 2 Ks and a groundout for the win.
May 10th - Came in up just 1 run with 1 out and runners on second and third in the 8th inning.  induced a grounded to Singleton and the run scored on a fielders choice.  K'd the next batter on a strike'em out, throw 'em out play.  Pitched a 1-2-3 9th and the Grizzles lost in extras
July 9th - came in for a 2 inning save up 1  (in the 6th because it was a double header 7 inning game).  Gave up 3 singles and a run in the 6th.  After Fresno got the run back in the bottom of the 6th, pitched a scoreless 7th for the win.

Word has reached Ensberg

I love reading Ensbergs' Twitter. Man, he loves Hoyt but others too. Most interesting comment:  that Aauz (the SS that came from
Phillies in the Giles deal) will be in the Majors when he is 20. At least I think that is the Arauz he is writing about....there are 2 with that surname in the system.

Jonathan is the only Arauz currently in the system. Harold Arauz (the pitcher) was dealt to the Phillies in the same Giles deal that Jonathan came in.

Yes, it does kinda seem that way, although I don't follow him on Twitter. He's great at saying enthusiastic things to pump up his players. His comment that Hoyt was the best pitcher in the org, including the MLB team, was a tad... excessive, perhaps.
