1-2-3 in top 1

Springer triples onto the hill, Marwin grounds him home.

1-0.

Fister starts the 2nd by surrendering 2-strike singles to the first 2 hitters.

Double play ball by Simien scores the run but cleans up the inning.

A little bit of bad luck for Fister.  A broken bat, seeing eye ground ball then a broken bat bloop.  Only one ball was hit well.

Valbuena's 1-out single produces nothing. End 2, 2-1 OAK N

with a lead-off triple it needs to end in a multiple of three.

I did some research to answer my question, and, yes, the FA SP talent is non-existent.

They should.  He's starting his motion, stopping, then throwing to a base.  That's the rulebook definition of a balk.

Ashby is so insipid. Brownie is a clown for playing along with the inane drivel. I can't stand either anymore. It's like DoRay is/are writing their script. They take away a lot of the joy I get following the team on television.

I hated that song when Herman's Hermits did it back in '64, almost as much as I hated Henry The 8th I Am. I liked Mrs. Brown You've Got A Lovely Daughter, though. But for the most part I thought Herman's Hermits sucked really hard.

I get my fill pretty easy, always have. I probably liked the song when I first heard it, but after a few hundred listens, something snapped. It was for girls. It wasn't at all like the music I was really falling for like the Beatles or the Beach Boys. Or even Jan and Dean. Hell, I still dig the Little Old Lady From Pasadena and Welcome Back From Dead Man's Curve.

What a shitty way to give up a run.

That's how they got the first two runs.  The A's have exactly one good swing tonight.

Ah, now I get it. Thanks for the explanation.

Why does BudLight have social conscience ads?  And what's up with that Volvo?

The social dynamics of the Volvo are perplexing. The bride is driving? Her dad is in the back seat? Her dad has the wedding ring? So many questions, so few answers.

I think it's the mother driving, and the dad in the back seat.  But how does she know how to work the radio without asking the dad?

They're driving back from their daughter's funeral, right?

The commercial is part of a series. I believe they go to a lighthouse for the wedding.

I don't think it's maudlin because the daughter died, I think it's maudlin because the Astros lost.

When does the daughter die?

Wedding barge crashed into the rocks.
I remember all the good times me 'n Miller enjoyed
Up and down the M1 in some luminous yo-yo toy
But the future has to change - and to change I've got to destroy
Oh look out Lennon here I come - land ahoy-hoy-hoy

It's a well-known fact, FACT, that all Swedenese are Astros fans.

The shitty Rangers are getting beat 4-0 in the 7th.

I always play a dirge when the Astros lose.  Or bagpipe music.
