McCullers walks the first two hitters...not even close to throw a strike...

Jesus, it's a good thing the value of a homer isn't proportional to the distance it travels, or Trumbo might have put us too far behind to catch up.

I guess it's a little late to remind Lance that Trumbo is a first-ball, fastball hitter.

His bat flips, half skips, homerun gazes, and general preening is only slightly less annoying than GoGo.

But beyond that... The ball actually went into the stands. This should result in Jake standing at second.

I saw it go into the stands in real time. Some asshole sitting thousands of miles away knows more about what's happening than these fat fuckers standing right there who get paid enormous amounts of money to make these calls.

That's some fast tractor.

Actually, you can't go fast on them.  That's one of the things they warn you about.  But they're supposed to be virtually indestructible.

I don't think I know what a GoGo home run gaze looks like.

I wonder if he also rehabbed his preening down on the farm.

He apparently had several outfield assists. I hope he's honing his disapproving gaze and arm crossing.

FWIW I saw video highlights of him in CC and he looked like a guy enjoying playing baseball. He was hustling on and off the field, high-fiving his teammates, and very happy to have hit a home run.

Some guys in that situation might "big league" the guys around him.

I don't think we have a safe enough lead to put a saxophonist on the mound.

Airplane tires will last 5+ years on a light use tractor.

The Astros are 5-4 since Gomez left... Coincidence?

This bullpen is shaping up. No joke.

The Astros are no longer alone in the AL West cellar.

Springer has potential that I don't even understand. As much attention that Correa gets.....

Springer in the lead-off spot for his career .299/.385/.448.  Now Altuve is like hitless since moving to the 2-hole but I think he will adjust because he is too good a hitter not to. I hope they stay with this.

I hope they last a lot longer than that. Regular farm tires will last 10+, if you stay out of mesquite.  Anyway, pouring down rain today, so I may not even get a chance to try them out.

Clearly the problem is the 2-hole itself, not the guy hitting there. Is there any way to eliminate that?

I thought the 2 hole was built for elimination.
