Fuck this entire fucking team.  What a fucking disgrace.  And if anyone has any advice how to clamp one of those tiny fucking rings that will secure the chain between the toilet handle and the flapper, by all means let me know, because I'm about to punch the fucking cat.

And with that, I'm off to pick up the kids.

If we let Salazar get untracked, the next 70-80 pitches are going to be brutal.

It's probably more likely the Astros don't even get 11 more base-runners all game though.  That 2004 Houston offense, even without Beltran, was pretty good.

But hey, 2 more in the 3rd inning so far.

"The most runners left on base during a nine-inning shutout is sixteen. It has occurred twice in Major League history: May 24, 1994, when St. Louis shutout Philadelphia, and May 7, 1998, when Seattle shutout Toronto."

The AL record for LOB in any 9-inning game is 20.  The NL record is 18.

Indians fail to heed Happy's words; with 2 outs, double-walk-single at the top of the lineup plates Altuve to tie the game at 2.

Marwin grounds back to the mound on the first pitch.  12 LOBsters through six.

Ugly. Valbuena and Gomez were up there to swing at anything. Chamberlain knew it.

Scouting report: do not throw anything near the strike zone. If you must throw a strike, offer something that moves--just a little bit should do. Try to remain composed and not giggle when/if they fall down while swinging and/or a helmet pops off in comic fashion.

So is there blame to placed anywhere (other than the players themselves) on so many Astro hitters having such fucking horrendous starts this season? It would be easier to make a list of people that seemed to be ready to play on April 1st than those who weren't. I don't get it. This is more than regression.

C'mon Correa, make me forget the shitty parts of today's game.

That should do it. No way the Astros hold the Cleveland offense at bay until the lineup turns back over to Altuve.

Maybe they should dispense with the Ken Giles intro music until he can pitch a couple of scoreless appearances.

First pitch is a 97-mph fastball deposited by Napoli into left field.

Seems strange, since realistically we are probably going to need someone who can go 5-6 innings.

Eric Kratz batting here is the downside of carrying a surfeit of pitchers on the 25.

We need a gif of springers reaction to that ck swing call. It could be used as any Astros fan reaction to this crappy brand of baseball we have all subjected ourselves to.

I don't blame Luhnow for much. But having Kratz on a major league roster is just gross malpractice.

No, we wouldn't have a third catcher anyway. The problem is that Kratz is in no way shape or form qualified to hit major league pitching.

Besides, it's going to be a big advantage in the 18th. The problem is, who is going to catch Kratz when he pitches?

My suggestion is watch the top of each inning and fast forward through the bottom.

Apparently Bob Davidson called this game to make sure that Kratz wasn't the worst at his job on the field.
