It's a rotary cutter.  It cuts grass and brush by spinning blades.  Ever seen a lawnmower work?  Same thing, only bigger.  It's driven by the PTO (power take off) at the rear of the tractor and held on and controlled, up or down, by the 3-point hitch.

I thought Giles could have got to the bag to receive the ball if it was going to get there.  I thought he was trying to time his arrival at the bag but gave up when he realised there was no play.  I only saw it once and no replay because of lag in the feed.

That is a perfect encapsulation of why the Astros are not a very good team. They make too many mistakes that better teams don't make. They make them all over the field. I imagine that's what happens when you take a major league team and try to play fantasy baseball with it.

This team remains in the middle of the pack in runs scored per game but 14th in the league in runs allowed per game and 15th in the league in ERA. Is that a coaching problem?
