Should be interesting to see how White handles a super tough right hander today (Harvey)

Reed just got a home run.   Double over Cespedes.  Ball got stuck under wall.  Cespedes asked for it unplayable and was denied

Typical Cespedes, trying to show off that aerm, gives us an extra base by going to the wrong bag.

White is a relative unknown with a very real chance to make the team. People like me that aren't watching the game But want a better understanding of what his at bats are like definitely appreciate the pitch by pitch account. I'm sure you already knew that but instead wanted to make a point of your own, whatever point that might be.

No, just tracking his at bats.  Really like his approach and don't always get to hear/see his at bats. And you can't even look at the pitch by pitch of gameday because it is broken during spring training

The bleeding was stopped. End of 8 and it's Astros 8 Mets 5. The point being, the Astros are leading the Mets by 3 after 8.

I guess it depends on how you want to define a bad outing, but he actually had given up homers in each of his previous 2 appearances.

Lots of oohs and aahs by the Mets announcers today (including Darling and Hernandez) over Derek Fisher and the game he had, including his speed and an outstanding defensive play in RF late in the game.

The Mets announcers were wondering early if there was a problem with the gun, but Gustave was sitting around 89 MPH.

I don't know. I had the Mets broadcast on thru MLB and they were all about why Harvey was getting hit around.
