Fister out for 3rd inning in T3. Worked around a couple of singles in first two frames. Broadcasters say he's scheduled for 4 innings today with Wandy on tap for the next 3.

Dansby Swanson pops up to Tyler White at 1B, who bobbles it but holds on for the out. Ender Inciarte follows with a triple, and then scores on a GB single through the left side by Erick Aybar. Tied at 1 with the 1 out.

Freddie Freeman goes down looking for the 2nd out. Aybar moves to 2nd on a WP (pitch bounced waaaaay out in front of home plate). Adonis Garcia works the count full before hitting his 1st longball of the spring. Braves up 3-1.

Tyler Flowers singles for the 6th hit given up by Fister. Nick Swisher grounds out to end inning.

3-1 Atlanta heading to B3.

Matt Wisler on hill for Atlanta.

Altuve, DHing today, leads off B3. He doubled and scored in the 1st inning. Ks looking this time. Springer walks to bring up Correa, who lines out to 3B. Pitching change as Mark Marksberry replaces Wisler to get the lefty on lefty matchup. Two out for Rasmus, who had the sac fly to plate Altuve in the 1st. Springer balked to 2nd. Rasmus soft liner for final out.

Still 3-1 Braves as T4 looms.

Fister exits early after 3 innings rather than the planned 4 (gave up 3 runs on 6 hits). Josh Fields in to pitch the T4.

ETA:

58 pitches, 39 for strikes for Fister.

Hector Olivera and Jeff Francoeur singles to start off T3. Dansby Swanson FC grounder, runners on 1st and 3rd with 1 out. Inciarte doubles to make it 4-1. Runners now on 2nd and 3rd with still just the one out.

Aybar grounds to White at 1B who throws out Swanson (who was running on contact) at the plate. Runners first and third with 2 out. Hinch brings on Neal Cotts to face Freddie Freeman in the lefty/lefty matchup.

Freeman flies to deep CF but Carlos Gomez leaps to snag ball at wall to end frame.

Braves 4-1 to B4.

Gomez walks on the 3-1 pitch to start B4 and then steals 2nd. White GB single up the middle, scoring Gomez. He's 1-2 today. 4-2 Braves now.

Marwin singles, runners now on 1st and 2nd with none out. Righty Rob Wooten replaces Marksberry to face 3B Matt Duffy. Duffy with a rocket to center but it's caught. Duffy now 0-2 in game. White moves to 3rd on the play.

Jason Castro up now with runners on 1st and 3rd, 1 out. Woohoo! Castro doubles off wall to make it 4-3.

Altuve goes deep to make it Astros 6-4. 18th longball of spring for Houston in 12 games.

Springer flies out and now 2 down. Correa with the infield single. PB moves him to 2nd. Wooten continuing to serve up BP as Rasmus 2-bagger scores Correa. Now 7-4 good guys.

Inning finally ends on a Gomez K.

On to the T5.

As scheduled, Wandy on the bump in the 5th.

Garcia pops out. Flowers flies out. Swisher grounds out. Quick inning as the Astros up 7-4 going to B5.

Chris Withrow on to pitch for Braves (and other defensive substitutions that I don't particularly give a shit about).

White Ks looking to lead off frame. 6 strikeouts, 0 walks for White (unusual for him) in an otherwise outstanding spring.

Marwin GR double to RF. Tony Kemp PRs with the one out.

Duffy walks and the WP sends Kemp to 3rd. Runners 1st and 3rd, still one out.

Castro also walks, full house now. Eury Perez PRs for Castro.

Altuve to the plate, trying to cash in (again). Goes down swinging as does Springer.

Up 7-4, on to the T6.

Monster foul ball on 3-1 then Ford said White wasn't happy with a call at the outside corner.  Anyone watching know how close it was?

Various and sundry defensive subs for Astros: Andy Aplin in RF, Nolan Fontana at SS, Teo Hernandez in LF, Tyler Heineman at C, AJ Reed at 1B, Kemp at 2nd and Perez in CF.

Another 1-2-3 inning for Wandy in T6.

Remains 7-4 into B6.

Fontana facing Jose Ramirez (who whiffed Altuve and Springer the last inning) to lead off B6.

Fontana walks (whatasurprise), moves up to 2nd as Teo strikes out.

Heineman walks, new pitcher in game to face AJ Reed. Runners on 1st and 2nd, 1 out.

Reed facing John Gant (AA last season). (Talking about Reed's defense while he's at the plate, Sparks said he's been impressed by his quick feet). Reed whiffs.

Teo LD out to end frame.

T7 coming up, stros still up 7-4.

Inciarte foul pop out to lead off T7 for Braves. Aybar doubles to center (announcers seem to indicate Eury Perez may have misjudged). Emilio Bonifacio whiffs for 2nd out. Reid Brignac bloop single to score the run, now 7-5.

Ryan Lavarnway flies out to close the T7.

Oustanding outing for Wandy even with that run scoring.

Astros 7-5 going to B7.

Duffy ground out, Eury Perez fly out leads off the B7.

Jon Singleton PHs for Altuve in the DH spot. Draws the walk.

Aplin K's.

To T8, up 7-5.

NRI righty Cesar Valdez in to pitch, gives up immediate single to lead off the 8th. Valdez has a great change, says Sparks.

FB for first out. Mallex Smith triple scores run (ball jarred out of Eury Perez's glove when he hit wall). Braves narrow gap to 7-6 with the runner on 3rd, 1 out.

Dansby Swanson flies out but not deep enough to score run (Aplin with the cannon throws strike to home plate).

Jace Peterson whiffs for final out.

Astros cling to 7-6 lead heading to B8.

McTaggart reporting Fister was working on a high FB today, one of which was tagged for the longball.

Also says Altuve working on taking more pitches (saw 20 pitches in 4 ABs today).

Fontana GO starts the Astros 8th. Teo Hernandez FO makes it 2 quick outs. Heineman bunts into a GO to quickly zip up the 8th.

9th up, Astros 7-6.

I couldn't tell from Sparks whether his last name was Coffin or Hoffman. Maybe my ears are going south.

Should be fun as Jandel Gustave on to pitch.

Ozzie Albies grounds out, Emilo Bonifacio then whiffs.

Brignac then grounds out as Gustave picks up 3rd save of spring.

Astros go to 9-3 with the 7-6 win.
