I guess Neil isn't taking any chances with the vistor line-up position and naming formatting.

no score through 2 and a half.  Keuchel being Keuchel and Duffey is spinning a good breaking ball that Jobu doesn't stand a chance at hitting.

I just copied it from someplace.  Editing would have taken work.

Some days you wonder how they ever score a run.  Leadoff double by Gomez wasted.  Still 2-0 Bad guys

I would like to see the Astros score some runs. Just for novelty's sake.

Now lead off double by Altuve wasted. Last two innings: 0 for 6 with RISP.

Love that Gattis takes a lollipop curve down the middle and then swings at fastball at his eyes and a curve at his shoes on the next two

You should be. They're about to drop a second straight series at home before heading on the toughest road trip of the year. With at best, a 1-game lead, at worst tied.

You have a guy slinging breaking balls, one of your fastest guys on first and a catcher who has thrown out 13% this year.  Why didn't they send Gomez?

Then you also missed seeing what a jackass Plouffe made of himself before, when he stood on 3rd base like a 5-year-old, refusing to believe he was out and then smirking in disbelief when his HOF manager didn't challenge the call. Fitting that his failure to throw out Altuve made Jed's GS possible.

I truly believe Marisnick is a 5-tool player. the Hit and Power tool are still work-in-progress but he is still a young player.

I'd still fine Marisnick for not getting the bunt down. One day that will be much more critical.

I'm asking that question every at bat, whether there's a bunt shown or not.

I just saw hilights because of my daughter's rehearsal dinner, but the pitch Escobar hit was a great pitch. Autocorrect is hilarious.

My only gripe was that Gregerson threw the same pitch five times in a row, and Escobar kept fouling them off. I would have liked to have seen him change the look a little after the third 0-2 pitch.

He does not pitch up in the zone though. I wish he had bounced it. Should have been a routine running catch.

I don't think he'll ever be a .300/30 HR hitter. But if he can hit . 270, with 15 HRs and 30 stolen bases...

I was just thinking that last night was a pretty stressful inning for Gregerson and a day game after a night game, he might not have his best stuff

I was hoping for something low and away to set him back up for the slider at his ankle. Agreed that's a catch you figure is made.

Routine ground ball, but the shift...another run scores to make it 8-5.

Gregerson will come in after all.

I sat in Keuchel's Korner with a 6-yr-old Star Wars geek.  He got to fist-bump Darth Vader before the game, which was the coolest that's ever happened to the boy in his whole life.  I was holding him up to be able to see Lowrie's at bat in the 7th, when BOOM - Darth Vader became a distant 2nd.
Good day at the ballpark.

Deadline deal with the Marlins last year. Marisnick, Francis Martes, Colin Moran and a compensation pick in this year's draft (not sure who that turned into) for Austin Wates, Jarred Cosart, and Kike Hernandez. If Marisnick blossoms and Martes and Moran continue their encouraging progress, this could turn out to be a very good deal.

ETA: I think that compensation pick turned into Daz Cameron.

I think it was Cameron. This deal could easily surpass the haul we thought we were getting for Pence.
