we all know the pen has been struggling a little lately after the great start. Probably still at least league-average the past few weeks but this details who is hot and who is not. http://www.astroscounty.com/

Fenway got to them. 5.73 ERA, and more walks than hits.
Often wrong, but never in doubt.

It was good to see Fields pitch well last night.  He's struggled a bit his last few outings.  Thatcher makes me nervous.  He seems to always be behind every hitter.
The rules of distinction were thrown out with the baseball cap.  It does not lend itself to protocol.  It is found today on youth in homes, classrooms, even in fine restaurants.  Regardless of its other consequences, this is a breach against civility.  A civilized man should avoid this mania.

I really root for Thatcher because he is the epitome of a journeyman, but he MUST throw strikes.

The shakiness at the bottom of the rotation may be putting too much pressure/workload on the pen. I wonder how that's going to work out later in the season...

I've been bitching about the offense a lot, and I still think there are going to be problems there, especially with Springer out. But getting more pitching may have to be a priority. If the offense struggles that leads to... the offense struggling. But lack of pitching depth is a cancer that spreads.
When the Clark is dead, Spack will eat his spleen. Before he dies, Spack will put his posts under the knife so the Clark will see his threads wiped out forever...
