Not surprisingly, I was wrong about the first inning troubles. Basically, they hit as well the first three innings as the last three innings. 230 ish. I had convinced my self otherwise.

They seem to have an uncanny ability to space their hits just enough that they don't yield runs. And when they clump them Villar turns baserunners into outs.

Don't know. Seems like it's in the same vein as a trap in the outfield, which as far as I know is reviewable.

Sometimes tough to define when the catch is made and transfer is started. That would be my guess. That play is pretty clear but many are not.

I guess they're hoping that the throws will be off-line, but that strategy isn't working. Especially when the runners are so late that the throws could be 10 feet off-line and the catcher could still get back to the plate in time.

It was NOT a good throw. Martin was still not even to 3b when the ball was fielded. Young could have rolled the ball home.
