Marisnick: .325/.367/.530
Altuve: .349/.399/.484
Valbuena: .206/.271/.439
Gattis: .190/.211/.410
Rasmus: .247/.319/.506
Carter: .152/.257/.283
Conger: .208/.345/.458
Tucker: .167/.286/.167
Gonzalez: .271/.283/.441

You're starting five hitters with averages below .220. It's amazing they have as many wins as they do. Here's hoping Keuchel keeps weaving his magic.

Looks like Hinch is finally listening to me, and has Marisnick leading off and Altuve in n the 2-hole. Let's hope it generates a few more base runners.
The rules of distinction were thrown out with the baseball cap.  It does not lend itself to protocol.  It is found today on youth in homes, classrooms, even in fine restaurants.  Regardless of its other consequences, this is a breach against civility.  A civilized man should avoid this mania.

I hope they can do it by themselves, because 3-9 look pretty impotent.

Keuchel has to watch out for David Freese, who is 8-14 against him.

Valbuena singles home Marisnick for a 4-2 lead. Great hitting by Altuve to move Marisnick to 3b.

Baseball is weird. I remember back in the day a guy don't remember his name was a 15 game winner with a 5ish era and Miller that year won like 13 with a 3something era. Both on the same team.

ETA I misremembered some wade Miller was 14-13 that year with a 4.13 ERA and it was jeriome Robertson who was 15-9 with a 5.10 ERA
Also year was 2003

With the way Pujols has abused the Astros in the past, it is hard to see them walk Trout to face him.  My how times have changed.

I was relying on MLB At Bat updates during the Leon Bridges/Lord Huron concert (both are good, check them out), but this was a big win to me.  Angels and Mariners seem like the big challengers.

BS. Lidge lost his command of that slider that kept hitters honest. Lidge was a two-pitch pitcher. Once the hitters knew that he couldn't throw that pitch consistently for a strike, they could sit dead red.
