Mostly he's just such a negative piece of shit.

He questioned the Rangers catcher for not throwing behind to 2nd on Springer on the double steal, claiming Springer was a full step behind Altuve. While the replay was playing and he was saying that, it was clear Springer wasn't behind Altuve at all. No correction, just keeps on flapping his dick holsters.

Then Altuve scores on the sac fly, and instead of saying that Choo respects Altuve's speed going home, he's questioning Choo's decision to not throw home.

He's just aggravatingly negative and in the dumbest ways possible. Editing to add - and he's so goddamn smug about it all, too.

At least you aren't stuck with the Rangers' announcers.

It's taken me several years to figure out what drives me so nuts about the Rangers' broadcast team, and it finally hit me: They almost exclusively use the players' first names when talking about their team. So it's "Ground ball to Elvis" and "What a blast by Josh!" and "Ross strikes out the side." (For the opponent, they almost exclusively use last names.) I have no idea why this is so off-putting, but it's tremendously annoying to hear on a regular basis.

Does this style bother anyone else, or is it just me?
