Well, that was very atypical for McHugh. Three solo homers, Astros trail 3-0 after 1 1/2.

Rasmus doubles off the RF wall. Gattis to third. Are those platform cleats on Rasmus?

Conger singles, runners on first and second, Villar at bat. I swear Ashby must get paid per word.

Conger grounds into a double play. Astros get 2 back and trail after 2 3-2.

There's the overwrought Ashby asking a  potentially simple 5 word question by prefacing it with half a dozen qualifiers. I wish Luhnow would have just said yes or no instead of elaborating.

Wow, Gattis got hold of that one. That hurts me in one of my fantasy leagues, but I love it.

And now Rasmus goes deep. Astros up 5-3.

Back to back homers for the Astros.

2-run homer for Gattis (Springer had walked)
Homer for Rasmus

Astros up 5-3 in bottom of the 3rd.

Conger and somebody (Villar?) with singles, and then Altuve goes deep to LCF for a 3-run dinger. Astros up 8.3, and Walker is leaving the game.

McHugh has settled in nicely.

Last year being down by three runs would have spelt doom. So far this year it's just something to overcome.

Jake Marisinick with another infield hit. He is amazing this year. Might be the best acquisition of an everyday player since Bagwell.

I was hopeful about Marisnick at the end of last season, but he has exceeded my hopes so far. He'll come back to earth at some point, but even if he winds up hitting .280-.290, his speed and defense will make him very valuable.

Edit to add: not quite a dive, but still. That was a long run and a great catch.

That was fantastic.

Tal's Hill is sometimes portrayed as an injury causer, but it allows that type of effort without a wall smash.

Rasmus with a pop fly double that should have been an error by Weeks.

Marwin doubles off the wall in left center, scores Rasmus, 10 -4.

Announcers said it was a defensive substitution.  I took it at face value, sort of.

Or he could have just been giving him a couple innings off. Springer and Altuve are the only players who've started every game.
