Bottom of the lineup (minus Jason Castro) having quite the day. Presley, Marisnick, Petit and Villar a combined 9-15 with 5 RBIs. Astros up 7-3 in T8.

Looks as if Marisnick has been swinging it nice lately.  Good to see.

Altooooooove with a double and an infield hit today to get him up to 220 (most hits by a 2nd sacker since Charlie Gehringer in '36) and the average up to .345 (currently 11 points ahead of Victor Martinez at .334).

Did my heart good to see the AAAA* 'Stros take 4 of the last 6 from the Shitfish...

*Per the local medias pre-series discussion of the HOU vs. SEA series.  Their shtick is getting pretty old, and I hope SEA misses the wildcard because of the beating they took from Houston this past weekend!
In the end, my dissolution with the game of baseball will not be a result of any loss of love for the game, rather from the realization that I can no longer bear the anger its supposed stewards cause to be built up in my soul. -Lee (01/08/2013)

Cleveland looks like team ready for the playoffs, Seattle did not.
