Whataburger Green Chili Burger

saw the first tv spot yesterday. I assume they are in the stores now. I'm looking at you HH.

I think it's a regional thing. They have them in West Texas but only tested them a few months ago in the Austin area and then withdrew them. It was an excellent addition to the Whataburger line and I hope they bring them back around here.

Just got 2 for lunch at the WB on Parmer.  First time to try for thwe wife.  She loved it.

I love them but my issue is that I don't allow myself to eat two patties very often. I convinced them to do it once with just one patty (you wouldn't think that would be an issue) but came to realize they charged me the menu price. Oh well.

I went to Jax Burgers for lunch and the sign outside just said "HATCH CHILES ARE HERE."  I eagerly ordered a green chile cheeseburger and the lady behind the counter had no fucking clue what I was talking about.  And then disagreed with me that the sign said hatch chiles at all.

That's nuts. You can get a single version of their specials at a lower price, I've done it often.
