Cool to see Kike at DH, but how does this fucking DH thing work again?  If something were to happen to Marwin or Jose, Kike can fill in, correct?  And if he does, does that mean that the pitcher bats for the person he filled in for?

I'm about to walk over to the game.  I'm thinking the ONRs can't do to the Stros what they've done the last two nights.  By now they must have checked with their doctor about erections that last longer than 4 hours.

Yes, if he moves to 2nd for Altuve, the pitcher would go in Altuve's spot in the order.
Always ready to go to a game.

Wait, Endy Chavez is the Mariners' DH? We've gotten pummeled twice in a row by a team using Endy fucking Chavez as DH. Awesome. And of course the sad part is, he's probably still a better DH than Carter at this point.

0-0 Top 2, as the Astros go down in order in the bottom of the first.

Now that Domingo Santana is on the big club, I propose Matt Dominguez not be call Dingo or Domingo but Dingus instead.

And then maybe Springer can make it back-to-back-to-back homers and we'll have a real swell time.

The Mariners have no infield assists through six frames. All flyball outs and strikeouts except for one groundball unassisted putout in the sixth.

5-2 Top 9 Qualls on to pitch. The Astros only have three hits, two by Marwin Gonzalez.

Watching Peacock fall apart was one of the strangest things I've ever seen.  I guess Mr. Happy was right, he just lost his release point, but it wasn't like a little bitty miscalculation.  It looked like he completely forgot how to let go of the ball.

Santana with six strike outs in two games. He's settling in nicely with the team I'd say.

At least there was some production out of the DH spot today.
