got lulled into watching the astros the last three days . now void deep empty pit. sigh what was the astros ownership thinking.
i want to see more gatoraid baths and jubilation and here the astros announcers. if more people could see who was playing maybe more people would show up for the games

It seems like almost 30 days since Crane said he wanted some resolution (or something) within 30 days. Hopefully, something will happen on that front. Listening to the Rangers announcers is torture and skirting the system for other games is a pain in the ass.

Too heavy to be a boat anchor.

Boy, that corded 4-button remote with the 3 ft. cord was really cool, though.

That looks like the first TV we got when I was a kid. We couldn't afford a Curtis Mathes though, I think it was a Zenith. I think we got it from the old Sears on Hillsborough and 22nd St. That was when a TV was a piece of furniture.

when moms tv (big as you can imagine) died she just covered it with a cloth and put a new one on top
and in zwolle we were among the first to have color tv when i was in 8 th grade. a lot of shows were still in black and white

I am reasonably certain I haven't watch the Astros since opening day last year. At least one of my progeny has no idea that the Astros still play baseball. Obvious jokes are obvious.

Probably cause for envy mingled with pity, but being an out-of-towner I've watched tons of games the past couple years. Recently I've become exasperated with the Brown/Ashby/Blum trio and have been tuning in to the opponents' broadcast. I liked Ashby better when he was a humorless zealot yelling at everyone all the time. Canada did a job on him. He's got this afternoon TV vibe now.

You're right-it ain't pretty. It looks like it has to go tits up, which probably gives fuel/credibility to Crane's fraud lawsuit, although his better chance of collection may be against his own lawyers e&o coverage for doing poor due diligence work.
