I don't know what the fuck I was thinking in predicting 65 wins for this travelling horseshit show. This club is going to struggle to win 50. Watching them on television has confirmed what I'd been thinking: I see no improvement from last season.

This Comcast debacle is actually the silver lining in the season. I can go to bed at night blissfully ignorant of just how poorly these guys are actually executing.

Since they're on television here in Toledo, I've had the opportunity to witness how bad this club actually is. We're atrocious.

They're worse than last year. I would have thought that a difficult feat to accomplish.

Springer with another chopper for a hit.

They gotta do something about first base. Its a black hole of ineptitude over there.

Scott Hatteberg: [Responding to being asked to play first base for the Oakland A's] I've only ever played catcher.
Billy Beane: It's not that hard, Scott. Tell him, Wash.
Ron Washington: It's incredibly hard.

Wouldn't it have been worth trying JD at first in the spring instead of just letting him go? I know thats easier said than done but I doubt he would have been worse than Guzman/Krauss have been.
