SuperBlow

A good defense beats a good offense, writ large.

Also, I only laughed at one commercial, which was the McD's spot done by the bad lipreading boys.  That may also have been before the game started.

Don't get me wrong.  I enjoyed watching the game, but more as a case study than a sporting spectacle.  The Seahawks were on to everything the Broncos did.  Awesome scouting, coaching, practice and execution.

Regarding practice and execution, see also Mars, Bruno.  Finally an entertaining half-time show, that was about putting on a show and not about ego-tripping over how awesome he was because he's doing the SuperBowl half-time show.  Anyone who didn't, at least, appreciate the showmanship and - for once - actual live singing, is simply trying not to like it.

My youngest son, 16, actually called the game before it started. He reasoned that the back seven of the Seahawks defense may be the best ever. He actually said that he'd be surprised if Seattle didn't win by 30 points. I gotta take that kid to Vegas!!!!

That was one of the dullest football games, at any level, I've ever witnessed.  The game was a snooze, and the only commercial that wasn't terrible was one of the ones with Tim Tebow.  It was only "bad".  Even the chili at the party was bland.

And I have no idea who Bruno Mars is, but the RHCPs were terrible too.
The rules of distinction were thrown out with the baseball cap.  It does not lend itself to protocol.  It is found today on youth in homes, classrooms, even in fine restaurants.  Regardless of its other consequences, this is a breach against civility.  A civilized man should avoid this mania.

I thought the ad w/ Scarlet Johanssen was outstanding.  I don't remember what it was about.

I wish the guys who made off with the 1980's era Radio Shack had taken them as well.

I wouldn't recognize here, if I saw her, so I don't know which commercial it was.  But it was terrible.  Like all of them but one.

Some folks are really upset about the Coke commercial.  Some people get upset way to easily.

And then to top off that game, a 9/11 Truther crashes the party.

Basically, unless you're complaining that the four languages weren't Algic, Iroquoian, Muskogean and Siouan, you should STFU.

I cannot think of a single reason to be upset about that commercial.
Don't think twice, it's alright.

Well maybe Republican congressman and FoxNews contributor Allen West can help you out.

Basically, he doesn't like that ad because; multiculturalism, Teddy Roosevelt once told immigrants to learn English or GTFO, and lastly if an American company has people signing in different languages, in a commercial, we are all DOOMED.

You should start paying attention to the Republican lieutenant governor primary race.

I think both Coke and West missed the mark.

It is the spirt of the age that the number of people complaining about people being upset by the commercial vasty outnumbers the people who actually were upset. By a ratio of about 100:1 easily in this case.

Meanwhile, there's photo evidence emerging in the UK that explains exactly what happened to the Broncos.

As a staunch conservative, I couldn't either. I thought that it did nothing but underscore the immigrant nature of the United States, which is a fact.

That's because people like those complaining (e.g., Allen West) have made actual conservatism rare and unrecognizable.
I believe there ought to be a constitutional amendment outlawing AstroTurf and the designated hitter. I believe in the sweet spot, soft-core pornography, opening your presents Christmas morning rather than Christmas Eve and I believe in long, slow, deep, torture of Bud Selig.

That would require a level of self-awareness that a fuckwit lacks. I refer you to Messrs. Dunning and Kruger.
