Sorry, I'm late because my wife sent me on a wild goose chase that took much longer than it should have. 8-3 Astros Top 8

Ford just reported that Altuve left the game with tightness in his left quad, and he was receiving treatment.

They win!
Everyone's talking, few of them know
The rest are pretending, they put on a show
And if there's a message I guess this is it
Truth isn't easy, the easy part's shit

Too big a lead for even this bullpen to blow?
I remember all the good times me 'n Miller enjoyed
Up and down the M1 in some luminous yo-yo toy
But the future has to change - and to change I've got to destroy
Oh look out Lennon here I come - land ahoy-hoy-hoy

I was sure it was going down the crapper when Bautista hit the 3 run shot in the 8th but the boys got the job done.  And now I can get some sleep.

Brian Smith said on his twitter that Altuve's fine, will get tomorrow off and be back in on Monday. For what that's worth.

Quote
Second baseman Jose Altuve (tight left quadriceps) left the game in the seventh inning and was replaced by Jake Elmore.

Altuve felt a pull while running the bases in the first.

Porter already planned to rest his All-Star for the series finale Sunday, so Altuve should get more than two days’ worth of rest before the Astros open a three-game set Tuesday at Baltimore.

“It’s just a mild quad. It’s one of those things where he could’ve finished the game,” Porter said.

I wonder if Robert Ford is making dinner reservations under an alias this trip.
"Holy shit, Mozart. Get me off this fucking thing."
