I would hope no restaurant would serve him. I would also hope any organization in Houston would reconsider having him appear in any capacity. It just validates his behavior.
Attendees to the event should all stand up, yell a hearty "FUCK YOU BUD", and walk out as soon as he gets up to speak.
I hope the Hyatt Regency gives him a room with an open roof.
not sure even that would clean him out
we should have invited bud adams down to give him the key to the city
I don't really care about him going to Houston, I'm looking forward to when the commissioner goes to hell.
Among other topics Selig addressed:The designated hitter position will remain and a universal DH won’t be on the agenda unless MLB teams are geographically realigned.
What does one have to do with the other?
It would move a bunch of teams from one league to the other.
I see. Maybe Houston could be more properly realigned geographically. Maybe with some other teams from the central US.

Houston, Dallas, Kansas City, St. Louis, Chicago (1). Or maybe the Southern US. Tampa Bay, Miami, Houston, Atlanta, Dallas.
That's crazy. Why would you want to separate the Astros from their hated rivals the Mariners, A's, and Angels?
and everyone wants to stay up till 9 to see the game start
Speaking of which...WTF is up with the Texans' season opener being on a Monday night at 9:20pm Central?Has Ssssssssssssselig been talking to the NFL?
FYB
Remind me again why Drayton McLane bent over for this stinking tower of pus?
It's always about the money.
Except when it's love.
“If my memory serves me correctly, you just had one here in ’04. … We have 30 teams,” said Selig, who gave a keynote speech during the 2013 MLB Diversity Summit at the George R. Brown Convention Center. “We have 30 teams with a long line of people that want it. And, look, the All-Star Game was great here, but I’m having trouble enough with clubs who haven’t had it for 40 and 50 years. And if I keep going back to the same places we’ve been, I’ll have more trouble.”
