Injuries aside, hard to believe that's the best lineup money can buy.

Judging by how often they've been on MLB Network and ESPN, it's a hall of fame lineup.

Brennan Boesch is 4-4 off of Harrell, Hafter is 1-1 and Nix is 2-3. I am trying to decide whether I should sit Harrell tonight since they're on the road.

That Yankees lineup would have been mighty fearsome in 2004. Overbay hit .301 with 53 doubles, Hafner hit .311 with 28 dingers and 109 RBI, Wells was coming off 2 straight 100-RBI seasons and about to win his first Gold Glove, and Pettitte was coming off a season where he won 21 games and finished 6th in CY voting.

I'll say one thing, though: Ol' Andy sure has found the fountain of youth. Yessir...

Aided by two double plays, Harrell has faced the minimum through three innings.

End 3: HOU 3, NYY 0

Maybe some enterprising lawyer fan will sue, not unlike that asshole in Miami when the Spurs sat Duncan et al.

You know, I figured that if I was going to get to see the Astros on TV at all this year, it would be when they played the Red Sox or the Yankees. I was wrong.

Of course, you all realize, blowing out the Yankees tonight virtually guarantees they'll lose the next two by a combined score of 19-1.

Nice to see Grossman break his 0-for-21.

Barnes with another hit, bringing his average up to .389, and 3 RBI giving him 5 on the year.

I'm planning to go to the game Wed night, looking on stubhub now for tickets... wondering, should I spring for the semi-decent $25-35 seats, or should I just go for the $8-12 ones and then self-upgrade to what will likely be large swaths of empty seats?

Probably a Panamanian squirrel that grew up believing that power lines never have power.

I was driving down the street recently and I saw a ladder propped up against some power lines in the middle of the block, you know, where they hang the lowest. There was no one around. I couldn't tell whether the worker had already been incinerated or if he'd gone in search of a more appropriate tool.

Joto.

I was laughing with a friend the other day about how although I try never to use gay slurs in English in Spanish mixing them in to your various greetings and insults is nearly inescapable. I often greet my friends, especially the Colombian ones, with Q'ubó, marica?

Panamanians use cueco which is fairly unique. When an opposing fútbol player gets hurt he gets regaled wih a stadium wide chant of CUEEEE-CO!

How are their announcers? I've never thought they were befitting the number one media market in the world but maybe I was expecting too much. Considering the market gave us Mel Allen, Red Barber and Scully.

The fuckers on ESPN said something to the effect of "even in their current state, the Yankees wouldn't want anybody from the Astros roster". What really makes me mad is that outside of Altuve and Harrell, and maybe Norris, they may be right.

They're pretty blah.  Not good, not bad.  They sound like minor league announcers.  They're 1000x better than the Rangers' announcers.

I had to chuckle at one point when they were railing on the Astros for their low payroll..."They get a bit of a pass now for changing leagues, but that won't fly for long....they're gonna have to up their payroll significantly..."  The rant would have had a little more oomph had that low payroll not been kicking the living shit out of the Yankees at the time.

Maybe?  Outside of those three guys, no player on the Astros roster could start for any other team in baseball.  Probably only 5 or 6 could even make the 25-man of any other club.
