Thanks for filling in the Tribe's lineup. I was just getting ready to check back to see if it was out.

What's the over/under on batters faced before it becomes 1-0?
I remember all the good times me 'n Miller enjoyed
Up and down the M1 in some luminous yo-yo toy
But the future has to change - and to change I've got to destroy
Oh look out Lennon here I come - land ahoy-hoy-hoy

Gives up a bunt single by Kipnis and another single to Swisher, then with runners on the corners gets a K of Reynolds to end the threat.

Laird hammers a shot to deep LCF, but Stubbs makes the catch and then doubles Castro off, who was already around second when the ball was caught. Cascades of boos on that one.

Bedard is susceptible to the long ball. The key for him is to keep people off base when he gives up a home run.

In semi-defense of Castro getting doubled off earlier, Stubbs made a heck of a running catch, right at the wall, and then Kipnis made a nice relay throw to nail him. Presumably Castro thought he was far enough that he could score if it dropped but close enough to get back if it was caught (oops).

I have no idea. They haven't been in the house very long and I've never even spoken to them. The woman I thought was the wife evidently is someone else, so I have no idea what's going on over there.

Come on, Bedard. You're running up a pitch count and testing my patience. Even though he has a bunch of strikeouts today, he really doesn't have a good out pitch.

Come on, Bedard. You're running up a pitch count and testing my patience. Even though he has a bunch of strikeouts today, he really doesn't have a good out pitch.

His good out pitch is getting the hitter to fish.

And with that, he gets his sixth strikeout.

It's going to blow your mind, but next month I'm moving to Toledo OH.

You'd said something about moving east and then about being in Toledo and although I'm sure Toledo is an outstanding vacation destination in the early spring I eventually rejected that possibility and pieced together your move.

I'll give you a couple of months and then maybe you can answer a question posed in one of my favorite Elvis Costello songs.

Although you're leaving a robust survivalist community in Montana I'm sure your wife is excited to be returning to the area. Although I must caution you, you'll be dangerously close to Canada and you'll probably be able to pick up some Canadian radio so you'll want to be extra careful to avoid that.

Bedard Ks Stubbs and then Brantley on 6 total pitches, then gets (Kipnis?) to ground out to Laird. Nice Houdini act.

Trying to figure out how many '100 mph arms' the Astros have in the system (MLB and MiLB).  They don't have to sit at 100 mph, rather, just touch 100 on occasion (even on rare occasion).  Rhiner Cruz can get there, as can Lance McCullers, Jr.  I think there are one or two more, but can't recall who...

Via twitter: appears Folty and Cosart get there occasionally...

Hector's got a sharp yakker today. Not sure that's enough, but it was enough to K Santana.

Ambriz gets Reynolds to swing through an eye-high slider, then he throws another one letter-high that Reynolds cranks above the yellow line in LCF for a home run.

I actually like the Great Lakes area just fine. In a parallel universe I could see myself living in one of the rust belt cities. It would suit my hardheadedness and general misanthropy.

I was at a wedding in Rochester NY a few summers ago. It was a nice evening and a bunch of us were having cocktails out on a restaurant's patio following the rehearsal dinner. Two carloads of kids drove by and pelted the group with water balloons.

The Susan B. Anthony house is nice.
