Meanwhile, Oakland gets out of a bases loaded, no out jam by striking out Josh Hamilton and getting a 5-4-3 DP from whomever follows him. And then Crisp hits yet another HR in the top of the next inning.

No way this is Houston 2013

It just took a little time for the significance of OSF's inspirational Opening Day trip to sink in.

Angels losing 4-2 to the A's. Bases loaded, one out and Josh Hamilton at the plate. This is what they paid the big bucks for. And Hamilton grounds out to the pitcher for a force out to essentially kill the rally. Trumbo makes the next out and the Angels get nothing out of that inning.

Clemens in to pitch.. Wonder how Bedard feels about that...

Not as bad as I do...  Hell, I picked up Bedard off waivers to start for my fantasy team today (consider the risk in that - Astros lost 6 straight and hadn't done shit at the plate, yet I had faith...) and won't even get a 'W' ...  (But will gladly take the no-decision for the 13 runs I've seen from the 'Stros tonight)...

In for the long haul and just turned on the game. Did Lunhow trade our whole team today for another major league team or have the mighty Stros woke up from a weeks nap?

After 5, 13-2 Astros.   Shaky debut for Paul Clemens, perhaps the adrenaline got him.

Ibanez with a foul out of play. Unfortunately none of those hundreds of empty seats wore their glove. Then Ibanez nails a homer on an 0-2 pitch. Work on your command Clemens.
