Cleveland Browns Sold
« on: October 16, 2012, 11:38:25 am »
...for one beeeelion dollars.  Unanimously approved by all 32 NFL team owners.  Despite their 1-5 record, there was no attempt to get the team to move to the NHL.

It is amazing to me that someone can amass such wealth through truck stops.

And they're not nearly as nice as Buc-ee's.
The rules of distinction were thrown out with the baseball cap.  It does not lend itself to protocol.  It is found today on youth in homes, classrooms, even in fine restaurants.  Regardless of its other consequences, this is a breach against civility.  A civilized man should avoid this mania.

Yes, they are. And they're not truck stops. At least that one isn't.
Everyone's talking, few of them know
The rest are pretending, they put on a show
And if there's a message I guess this is it
Truth isn't easy, the easy part's shit

I am amazed at how people stop at the Luling exit (off of 10) location.  I'm just glad those people are getting off the road when I go past them.

I never even knew about that place until several of us stopped there on the way down to the Kenedy area once. I probably looked like some country bumpkin in the big city for the first time.

His brother, Bill Haslam, is the TN governor.  Apparently Jimmy had tried to by the Titans from Bud for several years and finally just gave up and bought the browns.
