Bingo! The Texans mopped the floor with the Jets yesterday, and it took a tipped pass to hold on for a win. The play calling inside the red zone was atrocious (as has become a pattern). They wasted 3 timeouts last night because they couldn't get a play called in time. The offense simply did not look good last night, and it wasn't all Jets defense.
To be fair re: time outs, it was clear that they had an equipment issue, not a coaching issue, that forced those to be called.
If you want to point out a sideline clusterfuck, look at how the Jets wasted their timeouts, and picked up penalty yards, because they couldn't get their players on/off the field in any semblance of order. If they don't burn those timeouts, they have more time on the clock at the end, don't have to try to force a play prior to the 2-minute warning, which then won't get picked off, and they most likely win the game.
I agree that the redzone play-calling was horrible. Also, someone needs to modify Shaub's neck so that his head can turn independently from the rest of his body.
