By all means. Awesome series work on this one, RB. When my dad's father died, who lived in Marshall, Texas, we went and I got to talk to his house mate, an elderly gentleman who was a big league ball player who played against Babe Ruth. He told us some great stories about games and train rides, all of which time has washed away. Shitfick.

I like Castro, and think his knee injury has affected his D a lot, but all the "wild pitches" and the 17% caught stealing ain't too good either.

Perhaps that's another thing to hang on young Castro.   After that conference Harrell threw a gem to get the strikeout.

Possibly so. I strongly suspect that he's hurt the Angel of Doom, whose hammer is pretty good. He needs to be able to throw it in the dirt ahead in the count with runners on base.

I got to admit, having two wild cards makes for a more interesting end to the season. The Phillies are closer to making the playoffs than the Angels.

Nice play by Greene to just nip Pierre.   1-2-3 inning for once...   still 4-0 Philly as we go to the bottom of the 4th.

God damn it, Wallace. We needed a hit there badly. His average is dropping like a rock, yet this brain dead manager keeps hitting him third. He must think that he's still in OkC.

Evidently it was the HPU, because he just got the boot (after being given the hook)...

Zachary Levine ‏@zacharylevine
Lucas Harrell was just ejected as he was leaving the field after getting the hook.

Aaaaarggghhh. Your timing is impeccable. Wallace just popped out to end the inning with the tying run on 2nd.

Wallace is still susceptible to being pitched up and in. He's got to get over that, or he's a AAAA player.

If the Phightins hold on and win this one, a Rosenberg will be the winning pitcher. Wonder when was the last time that  happened?

Steve Rosenberg, 1991.

Apparently, the Phightins' pitcher tonight has a win this year already, despite an Astrosesque 11 ERA.

I haven't read the entire thread for tonight's game, so forgive me if this is cabrera'd, but I read somebody - Levine, I think - who said that there are now no former phillies on the astros roster and the only former astro on the phillies roster is Wiggy, who is many teams since removed.  Amazing that Wade was the GM just last year.  Ch-ch-changes.
