3-0 Good Guys after three frames. Through the lineup once, Keuchel has only allowed one hit, to David Freese. But let's see how he does the second time through the order.

Not so good.  Freese with a 3-run shibby after two are out.

Well I can see why he was available.

More garbage fodder off of the waiver wire? I've never heard of him.

The Astros picked up Ambriz when the Indians released him earlier this season.

I wonder how often St. Louis' first reliever of the day is referred to as Elizabeth.

9-5 Cards after Francisco drops a fly in right that he slid to catch.

So it's actually worse. We picked him up from the free agent pile of crap.

Charlotte Bobcats just went 7-59. Normalized to a 162 season thats 17-145.

The Bucs didn't win until their second season.

Seven hits, four runs so far for the Jakes in the bottom of the eighth and it's 13-5. Good to see the new manager and coaches are making a better mix happen.

How'd they ever win 1 out of 8?

The mystery of Lucas Harrell.

How the rookie claim off of the waiver wire a year ago can actually have a 10-9 record on a 39-86 team truly is a mystery. It'll be interesting to see how he finishes the season because some are concerned about the number of innings that he's thrown. Of course, you know my feelings on the issue: throwing helps the arm. I call bullshit on all innings or pitch count limits for healthy pitchers.

What sucks is that this is probably a career year for him and it's completely wasted.

Sadly, you're probably correct. He's a bit too one dimensional, but he's got potential and seems to know how to pitch, so he could fool some people. He obviously fooled Kenny Williams and the White Sox brass.

No.  They knew he has good stuff.  He had control problems.  Way too many walks and pitches for their tastes.

That would make sense. Why else would you get rid of a guy who has pretty consistently 94 up to 95 mph heater with sinking action?
