I agree with you on this one. This kid can play. Whoever spotted him for the Rule 5 draft made a damn good call. The jury's still out on Cruz, but Gonzalez looks very good.

Odd.  He gets the first 9 guys in order.  Then allows 6 consecutive guys to get a hit or walk.  Then settles down and gets 3 in a row again.  He's only thrown 66 pitches.  He's either hurt or there is something unknown because he usualy is left out there after getting knocked around a bit.  Not to mention this ends his 5+ innings streak he had going.
