Watching all the reactions to the thunder is pretty great.

It was a positive stroke bolt (http://www.srh.noaa.gov/jetstream/lightning/positive.htm) that landed around 100m north of the stadium.  They are much less frequent than typical negative stroke bolts but much more powerful (and noisy and dangerous).  When very close, like in the video, they make that massive crack sound.  When off in the distance, positive bolts are the ones that are deep, low, and rumble and shake the windows for 30 seconds.
