seriously.

Law says the Astros never made an offer to Appel.

Astros reporters are saying they hope to have Correa signed by the end of the week. He'll be in Houston Thursday for a physical. Once he signs, he'll apparently head to the GCL. Let's hope he gets promoted to the Appy League quickly!

Maxwell is not doing it right by showing up the pitcher there, even if he got it all. I'd fucking throw at a hitter if he did that to me. Players today admire their shots, but that never happened when I played because pitchers would go hunting for anyone who did that. It just wasn't done.

Not backing up what Maxie did, but do you find it okay when a pitcher pumps his fist when he Ks someone?  Cause that happens all the time

That's still a lot of pitches for 4.1 innings. Harrell doesn't have much swing and miss stuff.

I just checked out Jason Lane's pitching stats with the Reno Aces. He's 2-0 wiht two holds and a 7.59 ERA in 15 outsings. He's allowed 33 hits in 21 innings, so he ain't fooling them.

Don't think so. Too many PAs last year.

ETA: Looks like more than 130 PAs, or more than 45 days on the 25-man roster, exhausts your rookie status. Altuve appeared in 57 games last year and had 234 ABs, so he was well past those limits. Martinez had just about the same numbers.
