I'm a tad bit surprised that CJ is hitting seventh today after his last game, but not too much.

In the fantacrap league, Lohse's been one of my stars. I've worried all day.  If I drop him tonight, in the world of magical thinking, he'll be spectacular. If I play him, in the world of magical thinking he'll be spectacular. Here's hoping he sucks.

It'll need to given the way that Harrell is throwing. He doesn't look right tonight. There's some mechanical problem going on tonight. His command is really off. He's at 64 pitches through three innings.

Yeah he's definitely not comfortable. Kind of looks like he's just flailing towards home plate.

He's falling off even more toward 3B tonight than I've seen him. He needs a three up three down inning facing the 8-9-1.

Harrell's done after 5 1/3. He is responsible for the two runners. The Nibbler is coming in to pitch to Descalzo, who is then pinch hit for with Robinson, who is out on the first pitch P5. Two outs for Furcal.

Furcal out 6-3. WW does it and reduces his BAA from right handed hitters to .500 (4-8). 5-4 Bottom 6

Salas on to pitch for the Cards. Snyder leads off with a walk, and WW sacrifices him to 2B with one out.

Yes? RT @moisekapenda Did Jed Lowrie, riding a 7-game hitting streak and 12 for last 23, just attempt to sacrifice with two on and no outs?

I thought the sons had quit playing?

Third son decided to play Junior League this year.  Surprised us.

The 7 year old is in his first year of pitching machine.  His body build is like Prince Fielder, and he strikes out more than Mark Reynolds and Ryan Howard combined.  He should make a great offensive lineman someday.

This is how many fantacrap points I made playing Lohse tonight:  2.  It doesn't get better.

He's really happy about how the team is playing, the remarkable Altuve story, and that they're gaining confidence.

Mr. Happy is very happy about tonight and this club.

You know what I was thinking? This is really great.

You're absolutely right. It's always great to hold on to win a close one, especially against the hated Redbirds.

I don't understand the fantasy baseball with points system.  We do head-to-head, 5x5, which is pretty much a crapshoot but very entertaining.

I clearly don't understand it either.

I do both, points so far is much more difficult.
Don't think twice, it's alright.

I thought that I understood points, but I apparently am wrong. Like usual.
