This whole Jackie Robinson day thing with the same numbers and no names on the back of jerseys is really going to throw 80% of the 7000 people watching this game for a loop.

Is that just a thermocouple readout or can it do PID too?

Have you seen this site? I've made some of the easy recipes from and they turned out nicely. I've been meaning to make a cheese press for about a year.

It's a PID for cooking sous vide

Have not seen, have been using the New England Cheesemaking site (this is my first foray into cheese)

Bases loaded, full count, two outs and Schreef just watches it float down the middle.  Gah.

That, my friends, is why I think that Happ should try for more ground balls. The high pitch strategy to me is feast or famine. I love the strikeout too, but the key is getting outs however it can be done.

The Altuve gives us some breathing room, although not enough if Millsie is trotting Lyon out there for the eighth.

Positive spin: it was probably July before the Astros had their 10th bases-loaded AB in 2011.

So, about 1/2 cup of ricotta?

The only cheese I've ever tried to make was paneer, and I failed at that. If you can't make paneer, you may not be cut out for the cheese-making business.

I would direct you to John Lee Hooker's 'This TB is Killing Me' but it's too damn hard on my phone.

That is originally a Jimmie Rodgers song you know, The TB Is Whipping Me.

I guess you guys saw the Footer tweet that Shafer's petition to wear jersey number 420 today was turned down by the league.

170 grams, so about 3/4 cup

If it tastes good, I would probably do again - its not terrible.

Plan is to freeze some of the mozzarella curds to be stretched at a later date - if that works well, I will probably do a bigger batch next time

I've been extremely unimpressed so far. And if you're not good defensively, you'd better bring something else to the table, which he hasn't so far.

I don't know shit about catcher blocking technique, but something tells me his problems can't really be blamed on the knee surgery.

Well, for one thing, he seems to try to backhand a lot of low balls. For another, he doesn't seem to move laterally at all, choosing to jab at balls instead. I can foresee the pitchers getting gun-shy.

Clark rightly held him up. No shot at scoring. JD's hit was a laser off the LF wall and Coghlan got the rebound quickly.

I agree on all scores. That jabbing method usually doesn't work out, and it will attract the boo birds if he doesn't start hitting.
