He's not going to make people forget Bourn, but I like his start.

I'm doing this between stuffing myself w/fried shrimp 'n' Heineken and listening to my Uncle Fred discuss his golf game in intricate detail, but it appears Bud is dealing this afternoon.

Bud looks strong. And he legged out a double to boot. I expected Schreefer to take a bit more time to allow Norris to catch his wind.

Bud can sure lose his focus quickly. The mistake on the home run is understandable, getting behind 3-0 to Giambi (twice) is not.

Two runs allowed in seven innings so far.  The (lack of) home team offense may get him today, but he's pitched well.

2-1 Rukakkies B8.  Just tuning in.  How'd COL get the 2 and HOU get the 1?!?

JD Martinez smokes one to/past the pitcher (gets a glove on it but no play).  PR for JD.  Carlos Lee at the plate.

Carlos breaks his bat on a jam shot, but 3B muffs the throw and The Altuve scores (ball out of play so Bixler left on 3B).  2 out, runners at the corners, tie ball game, Bogusevic up.

Wonder how many are actually there.  It was 23K and something last night, and it looked like maybe 2/3 of that.

What was the attendance for the last exhibition game against the White Sox earlier this week?  That night it looked like a couple dozen people came.  I know it was a pre-season game, but damn, right before opening day, in MMPUS, and almost no one showed up.

Not good.

Meyers in to close the 9th.  COL with a leadoff 2B, then Meyers with a K and a grounder to Marwin G at SS gets an out at 1B (the runner stays put). 2 outs, runner on 2B, Helton PH.

Not a well known fact, but Todd Helton actually tells the Ump if its a ball or strike right before the Ump signals.

Yep, it looks like Tracy is in love with his young lefty. He should have replaced the third sacker late in the ball game.
