So who is going to win?

What are you cooking?

I'm not ready to make my prediction but I'm leaning heavily towards the Giants. I'd prefer the Pats to win, because at the moment I hate them less. Anyway I reserve the right to change my prediction right up to the moment of kick-off.

I'm smoking/grilling chicken and baby-back ribs. Just started the fire.

I hate both teams, so I'll pull for the Giants because they are the NFC team. I have no clue who's going to win.

I'm grilling thick pork chops, and we're making paella.

We usually go light for the Super Bowl. This year it's tacos, nachos, quesadillas, guacamole, queso, that sort of thing.

Giants will win but I don't care either way. Cooking chicken and dumplings, 15 bean soup with sliced beer brats, and bacon wrapped backstrap of a poor innocent deer.

I think this is the 6th straight year of my friend's Super Bowl bash. He does it up pretty well with countless racks of smoked short ribs and a lot of other treats that guests bring. TV's in every room and a large projection set-up on the back patio. I think I'll enjoy the Padron 1926 #1 I've had resting in my humidor for about a year.

Just got the pot of chili going. Homemade Rye IPA and Coffee Oatmeal Stout in the cooler. The kiddo and I may have to make some chocolate chip cookies later this afternoon.

I have 1 friend bring over pulled pork another making ribs, my wife is cooking crawfish bread, which is always a huge hit. Then just the usual fare of chips and dips. We have a TV inside and one usually on our deck, although with this weather that probably wont happen.

I see they are going to be streaming the superbowl on NBCSports, I may try using that on another TV too.

Remarkable how public consensus is the Giants will win but the Pat's are favored on the line. How do those betting lines work again?

With the line moving from 3.5 to 2.5, what's the worst case scenario for the sports books? Pats winning by 3?

The Giants just get it- that have an identity that everyone buys into. And it all flows from the top- an owner who doesn't meddle and a GM who is simply brilliant. I know the Pats have been a bit more successful, but for me the Ravens and Giants are the best-run NFL franchises. It's also why the Cowboys have become a laughingstock of the league, the meddling owner who is also an imbecile when it comes to building a team.
