Its that time again. Back in HOU for Christmas and trying to see what I can do around my moms house to help out. There is a lot of the misc. stuff that is easy enough that even I can deal with it... but... got some stuff (well) above my abilities as well. This years item: Concrete Driveway slabs.
Mom got a letter from her HOA saying that her driveway needed to be repaired/replaced. As a matter of course, I'd tell them to kiss my butt... but... when I got to town and had a chance to look at it, I *think* that she does need to have some work done on it as to avoid further/other damage. While I imagine I'll still tell the HOA to kiss my butt... I'd like to try to figure out what needs to be done to take care of the problem before I head back out to the left coast again. So, if anyone here does concrete work, or knows folks that do, my best guess is that mom needs about 5 yards of concrete removal and replacement (4" x 10' x 36' or 50'). Might need a lot less, as there is only a 1.5' x 10' (4") section that absolutely must me replaced. Anyway... send me a message if you have some thoughts on the matter.
Thanks! -Lee
