Hell freezes over, pigs fly, Ags hold a 2nd half lead, and ...

Crytsal Palace defeats Man U at Old Trafford. Other things that have taken place since that last occurred:

The Astros played in the World Series.
The Red Sox won a World Series.
Rice beat UT in football.
Iraq invaded Kuwait.
The Berlin Wall fell.

I assume that Limey will hold a fitting celebration tonight.
I remember all the good times me 'n Miller enjoyed
Up and down the M1 in some luminous yo-yo toy
But the future has to change - and to change I've got to destroy
Oh look out Lennon here I come - land ahoy-hoy-hoy

Rice beat UT in football.
Pretty sure that never happened.

Everyone's talking, few of them know
The rest are pretending, they put on a show
And if there's a message I guess this is it
Truth isn't easy, the easy part's shit

I assume that Limey will hold a fitting celebration tonight.

My nephew was one of the 5,000 Palace fans who out-sang the home Utd fans all night.  I was watching at the boozer, sucking down Stellas to ease the tension.  Ambrose's exocet-goal is being widely hailed as the best goal scored by an opponent in all the years that Utd has played at Old Trafford.

ETA:  It's not like he hasn't embarrassed Premiership goalies from that sort of distance before.

Courage is what it takes to stand up and speak; courage is also what it takes to sit down and listen.
