I would love for this team to go back to the classic colors and the blue caps with the "H."

So would I.  I might even keep watching them if they did.

Ditto. I may keep watching them anyway, too early to tell, but going back to the classic uniforms would be a big help.

I'm thinking French maid outfits. At least when they're playing the Rangers...

I'm kinda weird when it comes to uniforms.  Hell, I like watching the Tigers at home, just because those are the best looking suits in the history of Organized Baseball.

FTFM.

Pammy and the Gang designed the last uniforms based on focus group recommendations.  At least they could have the decency to bring the real team colors back (orange and navy).

Wouldn't they be crazy to not change the uniforms?  It is basically a huge money grab plus if they go back to blue and orange they will make a bunch of fans happy.
There are three rules that I live by: never get less than twelve hours sleep; never play cards with a guy who has the same first name as a city; and never get involved with a woman with a tattoo of a dagger on her body. Now you stick to that, and everything else is cream cheese.

The Chron had an article yesterday that suggested a uni change is in the cards, but oddly at the end of the article makes a point to say the Astros name is here to stay...

Yep.  The new AL-style unis will sell in their tens.

Toronto is going back to its earlier unis. Maybe that'll be a trend that will benefit us.

I hope not.  Those "early" Jays suits were butt-ugly 70's gauche.  Hopefully the Astros take a cue from clubs that went back to the classic '60's look.

They're going back to the unis that they wore during their salad days (Joe Carter, etc.) back in the late 80's and early 90's.

Agreed.

The shooting star uniforms they wore last year, or the year before, I can't remember, were gorgeous.  The cream colored home unis (bright white on Sundays and holidays), with the simple grey roadies...Beautiful.  But since Crane is completely tone deaf to the fans, I'm not holding out hope.  It'll probably something black and garish to "attract a new generation of fans".

I love those shooting stars but expect Pam to be involved again so your instincts are probably well-founded.

Have you seen the recent Jays uniforms?  You can't get much worse than that.  I'll take butt-ugly gauche over "generic laundry detergent font" every time.

Whoa yeah, those are pretty sweet.  They should do the baby blue road stuff instead of grey though!
