Derek Lamely (the kid from Montgomery on the PGA Tour) flew my dad out to the Children's Miracle Network this week...gave him a "Sports Psycholgist" badge, so he can pretty much go wherever he wants.  That is the first cool thing.  Secondly, Derek is tied for the lead at -6.  Thirdly, his amateur playing partners for today are Fred McGriff and Bill Engvall.  Pretty freaking cool, eh?

Cool.  From what I hear, Crime Dog is a pretty fair golfer.

Also, my sources tell me that McGriff is a pretty good golfer (along with being a pretty sizeable dude).

Very cool.  That Insperity thing I played at the TPC Woodlands was swagalicious.  Maybe your dad loads up.

Dad was not playing, just following.  He did not use his pass to its full potential, as he did not want to get in the way...he hung out with the caddies while Derek went in and out of the locker room, did interviews, etc.  Derek did send some golf clubs...have not been over to the house to check them out yet.  I told my pops that Derek might have to put him on the payroll - he made about $71K this week, after struggling most of the year.
