Wallace hit a solo shot to CF in the second inning and JD drove in a run with a sac fly in the first. 2-0 Bottom 3

Astros go down in order. 2-0 Top 4 I'm getting ready to switch over to the LSU/WVU game, but I'll check in from time to time.

I'm watching the Rox announcers because, for some reason, DirecTV doesn't pick up My20 games.

Happ can't get past two strikes. He needs to sharpen his offspeed offerings.

I'm going to miss these Saturdays with Baggy.

Sadly, FSSW is showing me the Baylor Bears dismantling the Rice Owls. No Baggy for me, and I'll have to stand and take the abuse from Yboddeus and Taras Bulba.

He really is. I don't think he'd add nearly as much as JD as a color guy because he's not as witty and he doesn't communicate his thoughts as well as JD does. BUT, added to an already excellent mix he is fantastic. He can be sardonic or cynical in a way that the main guys can't. He can be negative and critical in a similar way. Not that he's always or even often negative. But he's not constrained in the way that the other guys are. But beyond that listening to him and JD just talk baseball is a treat.

Any of you guys who can get the internet package rather than the DirecTV package, anyone who doesn't have to worry about blackouts, I recommend the mlb.tv service highly simply because you can choose your broadcast feed.

He's definitely Exhibit A in how a three-man broadcast team can work.

Just saw the Wallace HR that he destroyed... A good sign

Just saw it. Still flat.

ETA: Well, not entirely flat. It lifts at contact and then goes back down. Doesn't seem like an effective transfer but then again, he hit that ball a long way and real hard too.

He crushed it.

He gets some hellacious bat speed. I wonder if there is any kind of published metric on hitter bat speed anywhere.

126 pitches for Happ. The Rockies suck, but he pitched a helluva game.

He has. I still think that he really needs to sharpen his off-speed stuff.

He definitely does. Gameday has him at something like 98 or 99 of those pitches as fastballs.

Don't know if there are any metrics anywhere, but that fat kid in Milwaukee's got the quickest bat I've seen in a long time.

Say, that guy Lindstrom is pretty good. He's just the kind of affordable reliever a cash-strapped, reliever-poor team like the Astros could use.

Twice they've fucked up the bunt in extra innings.  Sad.
