And Schafer continues his hot streak...
There are three rules that I live by: never get less than twelve hours sleep; never play cards with a guy who has the same first name as a city; and never get involved with a woman with a tattoo of a dagger on her body. Now you stick to that, and everything else is cream cheese.

5 plays into the games, 3 up three down, followed by back to back errors.  WE ARE YOUR ASTROS!

Blast from Carlos, who was in no hurry to get around the bases after his homer.   Maybe he forgot the directions.

It appears the fielding disease that the Astros had was contagious.  This has turned into a snowball fight.

Infield hits spiced with a booted double play ball lead to two runs. If I was pitching, I'd give my infield the silent treatment in the dugout.

Nope. It was a stupid pitch. You don't throw a low and inside fastball to a good lowball hitter. He crushed it.

My heart rate at rest is 50 bpm.   It's caused me to have more than my fair share of ECGs and treadmill sessions.

In Colorado recently, I was kept awake by my heart pounding like a motherfucker.  Hadn't even had a wank.

Cards appear to have given up: down 11-0 to the Dodgers. Milwaukee is running away from everybody.

Yup, that'll do it to you. My brother and I used to make fun of our grandparents when they would come from Minnesota to visit us. Now that I've been a flatlander for a long time, I can empathize with them when I return.

We are lucky to have a veteran pro like Michaels. I think we should sign him to an extension.

That would fit in line with his expected team salary restrictions #Astros - J Heyman

Yeah, but don't you feel studly when you start hitting the ball about two clubs longer?

Just felt intimidated trying to hit from one mountain to another.

Wesley plaing RF for a batter.  Fun, but only because it's meaningless.

FYI: Matty was a monster at the plate in HS. Switch hitter. He played 3rd when he wasn't pitching, and was no slouch there either.

Probably. He had a rocket for an arm. I was really glad he was an accurate throw from 3rd. With that missile launcher attached to his shoulder, wild throws would've been an adventure.

Man Timmons is struggling like hell behind the plate. That same pitch was a ball twice to Barmes.

as Mark will tell you, he hit the hardest, longest HR i saw a HS kid hit in all my years of coaching. he hit it LH, too, and that was his off side.
