Day game, who'd'a thunk it... Thru 1, HOU 0, FTC 0.

Our boy jumped on the first pitch he saw from Zambrano and pooched one over the SS. In the games I saw him play when he was at CC I bet I saw him do that each and every game.

He then hung tough on a 5-4-3 DP with a quick turn and a good, strong throw.

Nice. Astros get bases loaded with no outs. Score one in the inning. Better than scoring none....

GameDay has Altuve being hit on the 8th pitch, followed by an injury delay.  Did the pitch look malicious or one slip away high?

Hit very high on the shoulder, but after watching Z pitch, I doubt he could hit a spot like that if he wanted to.

I agree that it didn't look intentional, but two inches higher and the Astros would have been looking for another 2nd baseman.

Admittedly, it would have hit Lee closer to his elbow....

I would love to see the play where Bourn singles to the first baseman, too.

In between P and 1b, Pena ranges to grab it, slips, throws to 2b covering, not in time.

For those of you who haven't seen him yet: Altuve's head is barely above the umpire's when HPU is in his crouch.

Well if that's going to be called a strike on Altuve, he's in trouble.  High and outside, strike 3 called

I thought it was supposed to be the Cards that DoRay got all moon-eyed and excited over. Thankfully I rarely have to listen to them.

I like Jeff Garlin and all, but I don't think Astros listeners should have to hear him singing 'Take Me Out to the Ball Game.' Leave some traditions special to those jizz-drunk morons in Wrigley.

Dammit.  I wish Mills would let him play in night games so I can see what he looks like, but I understand that Mills is protecting him to help build his nighttime confidence in the long run.

I'm pretty sure I'm more informed with a informationless Gamezone than listening to DoRay.

For those of you that are friends with Feets on facebook, there is a picture in which you can literally see the chubby on doray as he's cuddling up next to Garland who is wearing a cubs' jersey, not that I was looking of course.

It took a modicum of sleuthin' and cypherin', but I deduced that Feets was close to Foots, which was close to Footer but gettin' from that to Fuckhouse weren't no long walk at all.
