Crap. I can't find it on TV - even my reliable go-to backchannel is showing the Rangers bullshit. I guess the takeover is complete.

This is going to be annoying if it continues.

I'm deeply disappointed that Towles wasn't raptured. I thought we had a decent shot at that deal.

3-2 now as Wandy surrenders a solo shot to Arenciba.

Seriously.  What does he have to do to get sent to OKC?

Groom a replacement. Sadly, Towles may be better than the OKC options.

These guys on the radio are so bad.  I feel for those who deal with this on a regular basis.  Screw Time Warner.

Was Wallace out at 3B? Just here in time to hear it was questionable.

Towles is 0-31 with 2-on, 2-out in the T8.  Can he do it?!?!?

The answer to that question would be nope, 0-32.  In fairness to JR though, took a great defensive play to take away a single there...

At this point, how safe if Ausmus' club record 0-40 streak looking?

Mills pulls Wilton Lopez mid batter in B-8. JD commenting that something looked 'wrong' with his delivery. This can't be good.

Ash is Vin Scully compared to the two dicknoses that occupy the radio booth currently.

I've never listened so much to the opposing teams broadcasts as this year. That what our guys do. That's how good they are.

Jerry Howarth, Ash's partner is a little too nasally (sounds like Steve Stone) for my ears but they're so much better than...

Melancon's strikeout pitch for out #2 was just SICK! Escobar gets on with a soft grounder (no chance to make that play), Patterson at the dish now with Bautista on deck.

Double, runners at 2nd and 3rd and:

Brownie: Bautista's up to bat.
JD: No he's not. Not happening.

Bases loaded, 2 out, B9: HOU 3, TOR 2, Aaron Hill at the dish.

Me too. I even stomached the Mets broadcast for God's sake.

By the way, how close was Patterson's double to scoring the tying run? Our internet had crapped out at that point, and my fiancee was reading off the updates on Gameday as I was driving.

I would have never believed this when Ash was here.  But it's true.
I believe there ought to be a constitutional amendment outlawing AstroTurf and the designated hitter. I believe in the sweet spot, soft-core pornography, opening your presents Christmas morning rather than Christmas Eve and I believe in long, slow, deep, torture of Bud Selig.

That's what I'm saying. We used to complain gleefully about Ash's monotone and the false-ringing pitch elevation that's meant to signal excitement. How little we knew.
